Huayruro is the seed of Ormosia coccinea, a legume native to Peru. "Huayruro" means something like "Happiness Berries". The lucky berry grows in a bean-like pod. Only naturally fallen Palo Santo trees and branches that have been in the ground for at least 3-4 years are used.
