MahaNarayan means "great peace" or "great peace". MahaNarayan oil is one of the most popular classical Ayurvedic massage oils for balancing Vata.
Due to its complex and rich herbal composition, MahaNaryan massage oil is rightly called the "Royal Oil". MahaNarayan oil is commonly used to support the musculoskeletal system and in other areas to promote relaxation and well-being.
An ancient Ayurvedic oil blend of 56 herbs. It has been used in India for thousands of years. Mahanarayan oil is ideal for Vata type people, it helps to eliminate Vata imbalance. Vata is naturally dry and cold, this oil is warming and soothing.
Mahanarayan Oil is a traditional Ayurvedic oil made according to ancient recipes, containing extracts of 56 medicinal plants (gokshura, shatavari, sandalwood, nimbawood and many others). The healing ingredients of the oil penetrate through the skin into the inflamed areas, providing highly effective relief for painful foci in the joints and spine. Natural vitamins A, E, D3, minerals contained in Mahanarayan oil ensure the oil's action at the cell membrane level, help normalize acid-inflammatory processes in damaged tissues and calcium metabolism, which leads to a decrease in calcium salt deposits. Please note that mirage extract is the most powerful natural anti-rheumatic and pain reliever.
Main features:

Dosage and doses: before use, take a hot bath for 10-15 minutes (with 0.5 kg of salt) or apply a hot bandage with hypertonic (salt) solution for 10-15 minutes on painful joints, or make a hot wrap - in case of spine pathology. Then apply a thin layer of oil and massage the joints or spine for 10-15 minutes. The course of treatment for acute diseases is 7-14 days, for chronic diseases - 1-2 months.
Contraindications: individual sensitivity to components. The oil can be recommended from the age of 4.
Precautions: avoid contact with mucous membranes and damaged skin. The oil has a strong and distinct smell of camphor and herbs.
Recommendations for use: intended for external use. Rub into diseased joints, use for general body massage. It is used to reduce general fatigue and ensure the mobility of the joints and keep them in their normal range. This oil can also be used for local and general body massage (except the head). Then you can leave it overnight or rinse it off with warm water. When using for a full body massage, wash the skin with warm water and Ayurvedic soap after the massage.
The oil is used to reduce general fatigue and helps restore strength. It is recommended to use before or after sports, yoga training. Used before training helps to strengthen muscles, increase their elasticity and tone, used after - helps to relax. As mentioned, good for massage.
This oil is named after the Indian deity Narayan (Vishnu) - Great Narayana ("mahanarayan"). The oil is prepared in a few months - it is heated in a huge container over low heat, while adding the necessary components.
Mahanarayana Thailam Ayurveda massage oil does not contain emulsifiers and may become hard at low temperatures. For optimal use, carefully warm the oil to 36-40°C in a warm water bath. Shake the bottle well before use.
After the massage, allow the oil to absorb into the skin for at least 30 minutes, or better overnight, before taking a bath or shower.
