Chyavanprash is a traditional Ayurvedic puree of Amla fruit with various valuable ingredients, about which legends abound. It is one of the most famous Ayurvedic recipes, described more than 2000 years ago in the Charaka Samhita, the classic book of Ayurveda that is still read today.
The essential ingredient in Chyavanprash is Amla (botanical name: Emblica officinalis, Indian Gooseberry), which is revered as a sacred fruit in India. Amla is an Ayurvedic superfood that is said to balance the three doshas.
It has a pleasant, sweet-spicy, slightly sour taste, making it suitable, for example, as an ingredient in mixtures, as a spread or simply on its own.
Classic Ayurveda Chyavanprash is produced from high quality ingredients in sustainable agriculture and wildlife. It undergoes rigorous quality tests and is screened for harmful substances in a German laboratory* upon arrival in Germany. It is bottled in jars at the "Classic Ayurveda" factory in northern Germany.
