Fenugreek (methi) - Trigonella fenumgraecum - belongs to the legume family. It is a favourite Indian plant. Its square-shaped, brownish-beige seeds are indispensable in many vegetable dishes and snacks.
The seeds of fenugreek, together with the leaves of the eponymous plant, are key ingredients in Indian cuisine. The seeds, also known as methi, have a slightly bitter and very aromatic taste.
